Summary
Lead Consultant in an internal Management Consulting team collaborates with high-level stakeholders and global business partners. As an Engagement Lead, ensure the successful implementation of solutions and project deliverables, while driving change through senior stakeholder engagement. Strategic planning and leadership skills are crucial in managing internal projects, leading cross-functional teams, and designing organization-wide capability building programs.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with high-level senior stakeholders, global business partners and project stakeholders (Global functions, regional management, and country management), and other practices to understand the consulting pipeline and work to convert this into business opportunities
• Work as an Engagement Lead to ensure solution and project deliverables are properly designed and implemented according to the relevant project methodology and approach agreed with internal project stakeholders, managing project risks, where required
• Drive and facilitate change in a heavily networked environment through senior stakeholder engagement and management
• Lead, plan, develop and manage internal projects which include the following: Sourcing across top products and markets, building and leading cross-functional project teams, design and deliver organization-wide capability building program, including designing program goals and developing requests for proposals
• Play a leading role in the internal consulting team strategy implementation with the development of a particular method, capability or solution areas
• Work as a People Manager by coaching & mentoring others on industry tools, consulting team values and behaviors and personal development plans.
Essential Requirements:
• Partner mindset with a minimum of 10 years' experience driving value in leading organizations, leading change and /or process improvement projects and programs in a Top consulting firm or in a large corporate environment
• Significant experience, and proven ability to manage consulting teams (including virtual teams), and motivate stakeholders of widely varying backgrounds across a dispersed and matrixed organization
• Successful track record in application of consulting tools and solutions in solving complex business problems, related to at least one of the chosen area (Operating Model design, Operational Excellence, Program / Project Management, Leading implementation of enterprise tools, Change Management, and Data and Digital)
• Significant experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles including planning and driving all elements of project execution
• Preferred Sector experience: Management consulting, Outsourcing, Post-merger integration, Technology, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Pharma / Biosciences background
